Why such delapidation? Here there is a history of migration from very poor isolated rural area to urban life, resulting in abandoned houses. Usually these houses are dark and drab, but the thatched roof must have fallen in, allowing this great photo to be taken. House furniture is 1940-50's but probably lived in until just a few years ago, the green ceiling paint is neat! Love the colors ad saturation. Rural Ireland is such a great place to photograph. Thanks for the memories.

Wow-I love the excellent over sharpened severely saturated look on the photo. I guess some people would call it high key. All colors blends so while I love the focal point of the fireplace perhaps it is a bit to the left of the screen and should be centered upon the Golden mean. All in all, an excellent entry.

Normally a shot like this requires a bit moodier exposure and processing. Something about a nice bright room that has seen better days that is off kilter to me.

The light is a little harsh. I am not fond of the colors either. I think Black and white might improve this picture.

I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......
