Shots like this frustrate me. Tim, I am sorry I was rude, but I do not understand the point of submitting something like this. It seems that sometime people just snap a shot, just to get in the competion. If this was a serious effort, I apologize, and keep up. You bullpen shot was very good. If you are trying to learn photography, subscribe to Popular Photography, and keep snap and posting. Also, learn post processing. There is good software, and books on how to use it well.
Also, light in one of the most important elements in a photo, and on-camera flash is the worst way to get it. |

This doesnt look very candid to me. Looks like their posing right for the camera. |

I believe this is more of a snapshot than a candid: they are looking right at the camera and seem to be posing. and are smack in the middle of the photo. |

Hehe, unfortunately heavy makeup under a camera's harsh flash makes a woman look rather like a drag queen.... but maybe it's for that reason that I like this one :). I'm a bit proccupied with the way women are always supposed to be photographed in a "flattering" way... I like this because it's so natural and fun, and neither of these women seem to care at all about the photographer getting their "good side". |

I would not define this photo as 'candid' per se because it clearly posed. |

I'm afraid this doesn't meet my definition of candid... they're both clearly posing... |
