Or giant bats flying overhead and blocking out the sun, take your pick. :) Great idea to meet the challenge. |

Don, you always come up with new and interesting shots that fit the challenge!! I wish the closed minds were a bit more prone to opening. |

I can't say this necessarily fits the challenge too well, but as a photo in its own merit it is very interesting. (I tend to like photos that push the challenge envelope and probably would have given you a 7 if I'd voted this.) You wouldn't be Don Giovanni, LOL, if you didn't make the viewers think for a moment. |

Don, I really like the way the sun shows through the umbrella's. This is also a fantastic diagonal shot. |

:) That's really nice. Takes you a minute to work out what's happening, and then you go: 'Aah, I see!'.
I can't believe how low this scored actually - the title really works, the composition has a nice harmony to it. and the left umbrella has those nice interesting shapes and sunrays shining through it. Sub-5?! Whatever. |

A little hard to make out at first as the RH umbrella is not easily identifiable. My eye travels directly to the sunburst. |

The trees are distracting. Image would be a crisp abstraction without them. |

The potential for this shot is really great, but the execution of this particular image was not the best. A better sky would have helped, and maybe some fill in light for the lower parts of the umbrella would have gotten rid of the grain which occurred due to low light. |

Nice capture - Nice soft feel to this - Just wish there was some sort of point of interest in the gap to keep our attention. |
