| I don't think this is over edited...any less editing and people would be complaining that its too normal and that you should up the contrast or something I think |

| My favorite of the challenge for the composition and the subject matter. Burning on the tusk on the elephant on the right of the photo seems quite apparent but the rest of the processing is fine. |

| Just such a beautiful shot. Fantastic emotion and I love the texture of the skin that I can just feel by looking at it. Very well done. One nit - I don't much care for the border - I think adding no border would possibly work better here IMHO. An amazing shot. Back to bump you up to 9. |

OK, I have voted on 74% of the images so far, this is the best upto this point. most I have given is a 7, youget a 9.. I love it. the composition, the textures, the expression, the light/shadow.. yup, you nailed this shot.. hope to see this on the front page.

| I always find elephants to be a hard subject to photograph. I can never seem to really justify the textures of their skin nor their gentle nature. You have done both with this wonderful photo. They look like they are sharing a private moment of rememberance between them. |
