I sometimes get tired of being in the minority, but it seems to be where I fit. Very nice work, Nick. |

Excellent capture and completely fits the challenge in my opinion, though I suspect I'm in the minority. |

I'm sorry but I am not seeing how this is an interpretation on Double Take... The yellow is repeated more than twice in the image. And if you were going for the yellow line on the ground being \"reflected\" by the dotted line on the train, I think it would have worked better if the train had been moving. The blur would have emphasize the \"reflection\". But please, disregard my comment if the double take is obvious to everyone but me (it happens sometimes...).
PS: subject aside, I really like this image. It has a lot to tell. |

Well spotted! I do like the added interest of the elderly gentleman. Well composed ad processed, and fits the challenge perfectly. |

I always enjoy and admire shots when I see in them how other people have imagined or have seen things that I would have most likely missed. My first reaction was - who would have thought of that! Then I sit here staring at it for a while, feeling happy. I am loving photography.
It takes a great eye and mind to see it and realise what's there. It takes a great photographer to capture and show us the experience before it becomes the unrecorded past. |

The yellow lines are a good idea for doubletake however I think they are mostly a secondary part of the image. The man and the train are more the subject of the image to me. |
