 Well, I just looked around and it was the first thing that I saw, so...yeah.

I've always liked macro makeup shots, and while I didn't put very much effort into this, it's still okay. I'll definitely have to experiment more with makeup though.

Natural lighting from a window. Lotion is on photo paper to reflect more light and for a cleaner look.

Delightful start; I thought this was some sort of bronze garden thing or something. Cool that it's make-up. Nicely set up and shot. I like the DoF and the composition. Good start!

Good start. There really is an art to doing good makeup shots. The highlights are blown here but the pov and dof are spot on as well as the placement of the lotion. Try putting something in between the window and makeup to soften the light a little.

I love the simplicity of this one, and also the wonderful DOF, that really sells this image.. .....
I also like how you set it up, with the squiggle line, as it has a lovely flowing balance to the composition..... A great macro IMO.....

I love the composition and idea but do agree that the picture would benifit from the front of the makeup being in focus!

Nice flow through the corners. The focus is just past the front blob, would like to see that in more detail. The light might be a little bit harsh but it gives you the shadows and the bright-outs opposite the shadows which is cool and at the same time not cool.

Very nice composition and subject. I like the thought you put in to this with the photo paper and design. My two complaints: the focus should be at the front of the makeup and the blown out highlights are extremely distracting.
