Nails the theme and then some. I hope you didn't resort to arson to take this photo! I think the light is a bit harsh, better if toned down *or* used to your advantage (as if he is being lit by a news crew). Anyway, a very high score from me.

this is a cool idea, the red thing is a bit distracting, but maybe if i knew what it was it wouldn't be

Looks like a wonderful location for a photo shoot. I can almost feel his anguish.

Not a bad concept by any stretch, but I think there's potential here for better lighting and therefore a more subtle, moodier shot.

I love the concept for this shot. Perhaps a little play with some different gels on your flash or with your white balance could have yielded a more 'moody' image, but this is still a great interpretation of the subject.

Great picture. Good color. I feel the emotion. very good. 9 The only thing that I do not like is that the doorway does not run parallel to the framing... A very small problem with the image though..

I am not a good photographer, I do not claim to be better than anyone, any criticism is meant to be constructive criticism......

It might help if I knew what that orange thing was. Is this guy supposed to be a victim of a fire or an arsonist?
