| Wonderful use of lighting here; I might have composed it with the center of the shell end pattern thing down and to the left, with the negative space up and to the right, but I have no idea why (or whether it would be any "better" that way). |

| Lovely texture. And it makes me think what it would look like if you cropped it in so tight that you couldn't tell it was a shell. I bet the texture would really shine even more...never can tell tho. |

| I actually like the tabletop showing (difference of opinions). Flashlight, eh? A couple of white spots seem overexposed. Maybe a bit more diffused light source for the shiny surface? Otherwise good composition and color! |

| Very sharp and good detail. I would have tried to lose the wood table-top and put it on matte black for a suspended effect, but the wood grain does match the shell pattern very well. |

Ohhh very pretty ... I have a similar shell. You could have entered this in the PI Contest. I like the dark background contrasting against the shell.
