| Although I don't find her to be tacky at all, I like the concept very much. Lighting is a bit too harsh and you've lost some detail in the highlights on her legs. Would also have preferred this in color. Not crazy about the composition either. Her upper torso is so enlarged compared with other elements in the shot and half of her is in focus, half out. Would have preferred her maybe to be curled up under the tree with other presents? |

| I don't know if it was or not.... But open your eyes... it does not seems tacky at all!!! Very good picture, very bad respect of the theme!! |

Technical: fits the challenge. Exposure/lighting is rather uneven. In some cases this works but here I think it's too off balance. I think the composition leaves something to be desired, another angle might have been more interesting and attractive. Focus is obviously on the right leg/ornament, but with this composition it's a little too narrow for me. The black and whiteis interesting but it looks like there is a lot of artifacting- either that or the patterns on her legs, crotch and on the floor are just very distracting.
Personal: Good idea, but more time, softer more even lighting and different angles might have yielded a stronger, more interesting shot.

| I don't know - IS it a Christmas present? Looks like one to me. Tacky, tho? Never :) Seems a little flat in all but her legs and the background to right especially is a little busy. Maybe bring the darkest areas down to a true black and play with the curves a bit to get a more dramatic effect. Nice shot. |
