nice! I like the way the blocks work in this image... I love geometries and this one looks good... I would like this photo even better if the child was walking towards the camera... good shot :) - jmsetzler

I tend to like shots that really have a primary subject in sharp focus and no distracting elements. Environmental portraits can be good at times (there are some very good ones in this challenge), but I think it's usually good not to include too much of the surroundings because they just distract. I'm sure that you didn't have much time to take this, and that's a big problem with candids. In order to make it score high with me you would need a different angle (to the left and down lower would work) & exclude those guys in the background. There are just too many distracting elements in the bg like that tree right over his head. Also, the focus is a bit too soft. As a snapshot it's good, but there's some stiff competition here so the technical aspects are really important :o) ~indigo997
