Nice... the shadow to the right of the shelf feels odd with the vignette on the left side, but at the same time I think the lack of symmetry makes it more interesting since it's a centered composition.

Sort of like an open book, or a journal, waiting to be filled up with the things of a life. The white on white suggests purity.

Great start, Rob. I like the white on white. Good lighting, detail, and the border works. You use techniques I don't know yet, such as gradient map conversion. And yes, what's a Lomo action?

I really like how you used the lighting to create interesting shadows. And also the texture from the walls stands out too. Nice job. Oh yeah ... the border works perfectly.
