I like that you didn't take this straight on with the handle off to the side.. the angle is nice, and that you left it in it's envrionment. Gives a much better feel. This might look nice in a b/w or sepia version too, especially with a contrast or levels adjustment. |

It looks like a sad little face all alone in the attic. I like all the surrounding stuff like the crumbs on the old wood and the bare bricks in the background. |

Really neat. I love the crumbled stuff on the bench it is sitting on. Really great in making the old feeling. |

"Warmify" - I love that! :-)
Good backdrop for the object, and I like that you got down on its level to take the photo. |

Interesting find in your attic. I like how you have the feel of the attic included in the shot along with your treasure. |

I need to check out my own attic! You found a cool piece of potery there. I like the colors and composition on this. Good start! |

This is a really neat find, and I like the perspective you took on it. I might have tried to bring the contrast up, not to necessarily brighten the overall image, but to bring in some more dramatic lighting. Levels or perhaps better yet curves, along with perhaps a selective color layer to enhance some individual shades could make this stand out a bit from its surroundings. It is well composed, and makes me want to pick it up and dust it off, and see if maybe there's a genie inside (I know, it's not a lantern, but you never can tell where a genie might be hiding). |
