 It could be some strange firework, it could be electrical champagne, a volcan or an upset fairy flying into the night. Or, maybe it was just me firing off a cigarette lighter in front of the camera.

Just some crop and fiddling when importing the raw file into PS, then rotation, levels, resize add border and smart sharpen. And levels once again.

I looked through the previous painting with light challenge, and since noone submitted a photo like this I thought I'd give it a try. Or is it too trivial? I hope it will inspire someone to do a more ambitious shot of a cigarette lighter.

Imo, this would have been stronger if both light sources were from the white sparkly kind. It would have solidified a volcano shape and the sparks being the eruption. The yellow mass on the right for me is distracting. The pin points of sprays from the light part really give it some sizzle. Wish you luck :) 6
