 This was the best I could find in this month's batch of snapshots. Taken in a hurry while out on a walk with the kids.

wonderful bokeh - nice smoothness and highlights of yellow - and the sharpness of the fern is a great contrast to that smoothness

Interesting composition with the leaf just peeking into the frame. The real strength of this photo definitely lies in the quality of the color and clarity of the photo. Well done!

The lighting on this is perfect. You caught this at the perfect time of day. The DOF is outstanding as you have nothing at all sharp in the BG. I even like the border, it really brings the fern out to the eye. good job.

One of my favorite plants here but there isn't enough going on. The depth of field is just fine.

So much better than the typical DOF shot. It has intense colour, perfect bokeh and I love the use of negative space to enhance the fern frond.
