hi and greetings from the CC. It is quite hard to comment on shots that the subject is suppose to be 'tacky' but here's my thoughts....The composition here is not quite right, should not be so central IMO. And I think it would of been better if you had captured the bottom of your subject and left out a bit of the sky. Also the background of this shot is quite a nice. If the subject was moved over we would be able to at least enjoy background without the tacky obstruction in its way : ) . Also would have reduced the shadow which IMO should either be in the shot fully or significantly less, as is it is a little distracting. hope that helps. Happy shooting.

I like this shot. You had good light and a good contrast of elements. But why the centered view! Symmetry doesn't work here. Still, I like it!

Heh heh ... a gift-wrapped mail box?! How tacky can you get, huh?

Very nice shot, quite tacky. I feel it could have been composed much more strongly by placing the main subject to the right of the frame and including the whole shadow. The leading lines of the sky, fence, road and shadow would have given a really nice feeling of perspectice to you shot.

I don't like the way this is cropped on the bottom, would have been better to see all of the wheel and planter

All depends on how you shoot this....A shot without out a good deal of composition could make anything look tacky...so I guess your work here is done.

Nice idea...but I'd have pointed the camera further to left to position the wheel more on the right third, with the complete shadow balancing that. Not sure the sky adds much here....maybe include base of the pot/tub instead? Good try.

Good eye for the tacky. I feel a tighter shot (less of the surrounding scene) would have made this better.

The lighting angle is good and the rural scene is nice. You could have lowered the camera a little and positioning the decoration further to the right in the frame. That lessens the impact of the wires in the upper left, includes the whole shadow and better positions the decoration in the frame according to the rule of thirds.
