 We went for a long ride on Sunday and came across this abandoned beauty of a house. I loved how the window was only partially there and the curtains were flowing in the wind.

Channel mix, levels, crop, image size, unsharp, save for web.

I love the feel of this; I would actually go the opposite direction from Crystal ( jaded_youth), though (isn't DPC great?), and use a longer shutter speed, hoping to get some of the motion in both the branch (which I like) and the curtains. Some light toning here might also work here, though perhaps more silvery than sepia-y.

I love the subject matter. the old window is very cool. it seems a bit soft though and the branch on the upper righthand corner is too obstructing. Overall it's a great location and a reshoot at a higher shutter speed holding back that branch would have great results I suspect.

What a find! Love the textures, worn out look of the wood and the ripped up curtains. The little ruffle adds just the right touch! You can just imagine someone peering through the window making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.

Oh how wonderful. I love old abandoned buildings. The old curtain - the idea of what went on behind that window. GREAT nostalgia. Would be cool in sepia as well. ;~D

I have a real weakness for dead and dying windows so yeah, awesome shot the curtain really sets this off great find and capture! Love it, way to go!!
