 These people do this every year, and they'll even stand out in front of their house with Santa outfits on. Some people drive by in awe; others drive by and laugh themselves silly. I'm among the latter...

Note that on the wall that appears on the right side of the house, there is no rhyme or reason to the lights. It's not entirely obvious in the picture, but some strands of light are steadily-lit in one color, while others flash in multiple colors, etc. It's really quite a sight!

Perhaps the funniest aspect of this is that this is a two-family dwelling. That's right... two families AGREED upon this!

Maybe the house is so overdone because the two families couldn't agree and they kept trying to out do each other.

Congrats for your very tacky shot (although I'm still not sure about the translation to German).
Was one of my favorits and I knew it was impossible to beat: right on the intention of the challenge and very well made!

Of course you have to go to the families living in the house and congrat them too!!

I love the US Flag on the side. Perfect touch to an absolutely Tacky show of lights. Good capture. I was just about to say that all they were missing was the inflatable snowman, but I just found him, peaking out from behind the bushes. Truely amazing!

there were 3 or 4 others similar to this but the title was a winner and the focus or the sharpness is superb. I've tried to take outside lights shots and know how difficult they can be, GOOD ON YA!

One of my few favorits: sharp, well exposed and I like that the whole house can be seen in this nice brown color. It's also pretty tacky, although I'm still not sure about the term tacky.
