 Thanks to my wife for the concept on this one! Was trying to figure out how to represent ALL four, and she had the idea for the "Stones" from the 5th Element.

Hit the hardware store for the 4x4 post, and proceeded to route the patterns as she painted them with a stone-wash spray-paint.

I threw on the "stuff" on them inside my lightbox while she blew on the leafs to create movement. Really hard to represent air/wind, and this was the best idea we had.

PP:
convert from RAW (2 lighting samples)
combine in CS2 & mask out dark layer around stones
crop
curves
cloned out a couple of specs & dark area behind stones
dodged the water drops a bit
resize
usm
add border
sfw

I thought of something similar myself, the Fifth Element movie.. its technically done well, it just doesnt have that added oomph 6

Oh, that's my favorite movie (5th Element).

I dig the lighting and I'll have to come back and see how you made those stones. Nothing to improve.
