I'd have wished for a slightly deeper DOF so that his entire body was in focus. The way that his rear leg and tail are just this side of the focal plane keeps drawing my eye and distracting me slightly. |

Loose connection to the challenge topic, any land animal would have worked the same way. Picture itself is oversharpened (pixelation in the fur), crop at bottom is too close, would have been better to include the tail. |
