one of the ten photography rules in my recent pcphoto mag said, always use your dslr camera's highlight mode to test for overblown highlights because its something that can rarely be fixed in photoshop. this is an great photo, an interesting angle, and I am a huge waterfall fan.. but my suggestion would be to go early or late in the day and to shoot without direct sunlight on the water, because the highlights in the water are slightly off.. also the shadow on the water is distracting from the beauty of the shot. I've found going right at dusk & opening up the shutter for a few seconds will bring in the missing light, give the water that flowy silky look and without blown highlights.. Just trying to give constructive critique, don't hate me lol :) 6 |
