 My first attempt at star trails, I can see what people mean about noise. I still think its kinda cool though

This was a total of 30 min exposure, f/7 ISO 100

I like this photo. I don't really like the frame. I find it not compatible with astrophotography, but good for family portrait & stuff (this is my opinion, don't forget). I am not sure the tree does very well in this photo, but I find very important something from Earth in this kind of photos. I think the constellation you focused is just (almost) perfect because of the star colors. Is the line that leads to the tree an artificial satellite?

Stelarphotograhpy needs to be though out and planned before the shot is taken, Composition wise i really dont like that tree, it seems very random like it accidently crept in to the shot. and there is a cable cutting the stelar pattern.

I really like the different colors of the star streaks but find the border to be a bit distracting from the image.

Your impressively large white border overpowers most of the star trails like a city street light might.
