This is the beautiful Bridal Viel falls in BC, Canada. Its Canada's 8th largest waterfall, and silly enough i JUST found it lol, turns out i live 15min from it and never knew it was there. This picture doesn't really do it justice, its very big and really purdy :P Hope yall like it.
lol last minute here, i keep second guessing myself lol, tweating things and what not. I hope this one goes over well. The colors from the trees are pretty much straight out of the camera, the colors in the forest here are so beautiful, lots of bright greens and such. Lovely place. I hope this does better than my selective desat entry (which i thought was good, but appears to have bombed.)
Onto the good stuff. Post processing:
No cropping on this one
Auto levels, contrast,color
Sharpening (250,0.3,0) then again at (11,45,0) to increase the contrast.
Erased sharpening done to the waterfall as i wanted to make it look fluid.
Lots of dodging and burning on the waterfall to make the rock behind stand out, and make the water a bit brighter.
Bumped the saturation a smidge
dodge and burned the logs and moss
more sharpening selectively on the logs and foreground.
Other misc things i cant remember (had about 13 layers going lol) |
