I like the grainy texture of the image, but I find myself wishing that there were more people in the shot. Seems empty.

Looks like a British pub to me. Love the light, the grain, the contrast. 10 - floyd.

Great photo! I like the grain because it makes it look old. Good composition, too. -stephan

This shot has an amazing ambiance to it. Being in B&W and overexposed really helps to convey a lot of feeling. It looks like a scene that could take place anywhere and to anyone and the posture of the guy on the right sort of gives it a melencholy feel. The only thing that I would like more is for the guy on the left in the sweatpants to be out of the frame as his prescence detracts a little from the feel of the other man. Well done.

Is this lisa? the grain works well here.

Very good composition. The B&W works well for this genre. Slightly overexposed for the highlights, but regardless of this nitpicking, the image is very well done.

like the b&w. doesn't hold my interest for very long. wish they were rooting for their team or something. This kind of shot in public must be difficult.

This picture takes me somewhere else. The viewer is left to imagine the sounds from the football game, but I prefer to think of this image as a candid depiction of silence. Silence is what really comes through.

mood captured - body paused while an exciting play takes place
sincerity of expressions - good

A nice shot, and good use of black & white. Even the slight bit of grain is a good way of capturing the mood here.

bar is neatly framed by sign and chair. has newspaper photo look. I like it

The b&w works well for this photo. I would have liked to have seen more focus on the expressions of the people, but for the one gentleman, you did capture the attitude of the moment. lhall-7

I like the warmth of this picture. nice job.

A bit grainy but I think this works well for the style of bar you were in, it looks like a grainy kind of place! Nice shot, conveys the atmosphere well. If I had to pick a flaw I think I'd ask for more people in it (but then someone might have seen you!)

is this a spot in london, not far from the train station, where the buses drop off?
real sweet picture looks like you were sitting at one of the tables
when you get this shot you get up and take two steps forward and shoot again
and maybe they don't see and you can get the expression on the guy's face and the rectangle's more full of people
or maybe he turns around and asks you what you're doing
at whch point the other two turn and look at you
then you pop 'em with the flash
and that's real real candid
real sweet picture
