more portraiture than candid, but nice nonetheless.

i like the lady's look of caring on her face. The dog is hard to see though.

I like the use of sepia here, I wish there was a little more detail in the dog, but I understand that wood have been difficult to do here, good job

Nice portait of the woman, but can't see the dog.

Nice shadows. I'd have liked it a little lighter, but I do think the composition is very strong. And the facial expression says a lot to me...nice job.

This is beautiful. I love the tenderness expressed in the woman's face and hand, and the way the composition of the image draws attention to both. The slightly tinted black and white emphasises the woman's profile, again giving an added boost to the emotion in this image. One of my 10s this week - lisae

Nicely done -- I like the use of B&W for this, too.

I like the tender expression on her face. Even though this woman is not nearly old enough, it reminds me of a nursing home i used to volunteer at that had animals. Great shot. The white of the window sets up some nice contrast, but some of the dog is lost in the window sill. I like this shot. karmat

Lighting is too dark for the dog to stand out. The cropping is spot on.

This is a lovely image... the detail is also excellent... I can almost count the strands of hair on her head... the soft lighting and the toning on this image also create a nice mood for this portrait... great shot :) = 8 - jmsetzler
