 Old souvenir knife from a childhood trip to Mexico, shot up towards the ceiling with two incandescent lights flanking me.

Color was very flat and focus was only sharp on the glare on my thumbnail (handheld shot, no flash). Mono- or duotone looked blah as well, so I used a combination of three Curves (RGB, Red, Blue) to create the "over-the-edge" color and grain effects. Two passes with USM at 66%, 0.6 dia, Threshold 5.

*Note: No photographers were hurt (other than feelings) in the making of this photo.

I don't think I will ever really appreciate the overprocessed psychedelic type shots like this...

Bit too abstract colours for me, and I don't really like the grainy feeling here. The idea and composition are good! :-)
