A beautiful photo that uses an unusual perspective for a common subject. With the dark background and the backlighting, the edges of the rose become very interesting.

One of my picks for a ribbon. I am partial to simple flowers set against a black backgound ;) Like the trio from this different angle (so the stems show up in an interesting way)

The strong white hightlights distract from the borders of the flower. Unsure of where focus stands. Good idea and perfect composition.
