Man, they burned you on this one JJ. I had this placing in the top 15 for sure. Keep up the good work. Have a good 2004. |

Great shot. Sad to see it voted so low, but good taste isn't a priority here. It's so clearly European, which I like. Very good catch. |

if the boy were holding a flower, your pic would have placed 100 spots higher. too bad dpc tends to vote down pictures that aren't warm and fuzzy. great shot dispite the place. |

Why would anyone set up such an image...
There was not even time to move or zoom.
Here is what the original shot looked like:

JJ, obviously people on this site just can't apreciate this photo. Too much for the masses. I loved it. Sad to see it down so low. I need to know: was this set up or "live"? If it's live how do you find these kinds of situations? Great photojournalism. Congrats, despite your score. A wonderful image. I gave it a 9. |

Sepia tones are wonderful, but I don't find the subject matter here all that interesting |

This is a top notch candid shot! The picture is busy so I think tha's why you sepiad it so that we focus more on the action. 8 |

One of those telling photjournalistic moments, with the casual appearance of a snap but powerful in the capture of significant signs and gestures. I like the no entry sign coming out of the kid's arm and the 'bear' label on his target. Make a great poster for the NRA. |

kind of a disturbing shot when you really look at what is going on here, I also like the use of sepia tones here, but to me the positioning of the people in the shot doesn't seem natural, also seems to be so much of the story we are missing out on. 7 |

Interesting photo, but a little disturbing. Is this for real, or set up?
Good color/tone, but there is some really tough competition in this challenge.

Thats a great picture. Not sure how it will do, since it does not have alot of eye candy.
But a super photo none the less. |

Powerful image. Was this set up or captured "live"? I love the look on the mother's face, as if she is edging the child on, waiting for the shot to fire. |

Interresting, to say the least. I fnd the subject both humorous and disturbing at the same time. Because it does that, I like it a lot. You got my attention and a high rating from me. But two things hold it from an even higher rating: that is off center with half the mom. And why not color?! |

Very nice shot! Good photo journalism! It conveys to me a sad side of the human race. The expressions and actions tell all. 9 |
