Absolutely stunning composition that draws my eye deep into it. |

Personally, I would clone out the fence. Then the image would really have a meaning to me. Otherwise, it is an "almost made it".... |

That sky is amazing. I'm glad you shared how it was done! I might have to look for one of those filters! |

This is one shot and not a composite. I used a mauve(purplish) graduated neutral density filter. Which makes the top one stop darker and purplish at the same time. It would pass the advanced editing rule set. :) |

Beautiful, Love the colours you achieved with the sky and the ocean. Part of the foreground vegetation feels a little weak for me, but that might just me and If it was more powerful it could have detracted from the overall image. |

This reminds me of the series of of Myst games - I think because of the person standing at the end and the possibly unfinished rail. Has like this surreal feel to it. |

Feels like the figure is part of some ritual taking place in that circle, like something astonishing is about to happen. Yeah, I get a weird sense of suspense from this image. |

it looks unreal, like the horizon is lower than it should be, which gives the impression that he is too far out, that he is leaving this plane. Melethia's title is appropriate. I get a sci-fi/fantasy feeling from this photo. |

Alternate title - The Summoning. I see the figure at the end of the land (androgynous, either male or female) there to summon energy from the power of the land/sea/sky interface. And I'm betting it works, too. |

gassp! gorgeous fairy tale feel, enhanced by the soft colors. almost feels to me as if the subject is being watched... well obviously they are (lol) but you don't always get that feeling from photographs. I think I get that from the way the stairs lead down. Makes me feel like I should go join them... and if I was brave (or stupid?) perhaps jump in. Or to go with the fairy tale theme, I'd idealy like to fly from that spot.
normally I wouldn't like that huge white spot but it gives it a feeling of infinity, though it might be cool if it was in the middle, maybe not though... perhaps a little on the other side to balance it out. |
