 I took this shot from the Canadian side of the Niagara falls. It is of the very leftmost end (closest to the US falls) of the horseshoe falls. The colors were from the colored lights they hit the falls with at night. They cycle through different colors so I got a number of shots but I liked this one best. I think the blues and reds lend it a sort of mystical quality.

I converted from raw in CS2, cropped, ran Neat Image, did some dodging and burning of the mist at the bottom to lend it some depth and color burned and dodged some spots on the falls to reduce the appearance of the brighter circles the spotlights introduced.

i had to tell you why i gave you a one on this, not because the S.C. is really watching over my shoulder, but this is a really bad out of focus photo. this is a contest and i feel that i need to be honest with you. maybe next time you could move your camera at diff. angle to capture more light or adjust your iso. to me digital is a free do over. use up that card. i do apologize if i have offended you with my honesty
