 This was actually NOT the planned shot... however, it turns out that pasta is not flammable... even when dosed in flammable liquids... I thought I was risking burning down the house- but I couldn't burn anything.

Either way, before I tried to set it on fire, I noticed it was still steaming and illuminated the steam, and grabbed a few shots, good thing too.

A little Curves, levels, hue/saturation adjustments. Lots of shadow/highlight adjustments, sharpening and noise reduction-then saved for web.

Very clear, good job on the steam/smoke. Not sure I like the checked table cloth or the position of the dish.
