A subject I've shot before (but not for any challenges) I noticed this shadow one day as it formed from elements not bearing the cross shape. There are actually several of these overhead light platforms along the top of a new theater megaplex nearby, about 25' up what is essentially just a concrete wall. They're almost surreal as they take shape under the early afternoon sun ... and I'm not religious. ;-)

RAW conversion in ACR: Addeded contrast; boosted Blue luminance and saturation; slight vignetting

Post in PS CS3: Cloned out some very minor tree branch creep near the bottom of the frame; further boosted contrast; bumped up the Blacks in Black, Blue and Neutral to bring out the texture and richen colors overal; final Saturation boost (10%, master); Smart Sharpen; resize ... add border ... save for web.

really like the graphic quality of this one, great colours, I'm not sold on the moon though, may have been a bit simpler without the distraction. Nevertheless still very good 7

the shadow is very clear in this, but the colors don't work very well.

I love this image. It is full of shapes and the simplicity is amazing. The colors pop and definately attract the eye. And i like the fact that there is a little bit of bright blue sky at the top of the image. Nice job.

Excellent! If only the shadow had formed the spaghetti monster I'd have given it a straight 10!

Love the colors, and the puzzle of what angle is this shot from?
