 Bill Lanterman, Wink, always leaves wonderful comments and takes great shots. Bill is from my province, from just down the coast, and used to be a fisherman, so he says. However, he now lives on the opposite coast. So, here's my homage to Bill - a wink on a Nova Scotian fishing wharf. This isn't actually from his home port, but a bit further up the coast. Sorry, Bill, didn't make it to Prospect for this shot.

I like this a lot. It has a candid feel, yet it is still polished. Especially intriguing how the face is cropped. And, as always, your tonal range in b/w is splendid. Frankly I think this should have scored much higher.

This should have scored much higher. First thing I think when I see this picture is "Wink". Good composition and use of the frame.

I absolutely cannot understand why this didn't get a blue! Is that you? I guess I didn't recognize you in oilskins and not sitting in front of your piano :-)) Thanks for the wink and the thought, and next time I'm there meet me for coffee, or whatever.

Love the expression but the crop is too severe and I think on this type of shot a pic of the whole woman would have been better

there is too much going on in the background for the title. The Wink should be the focuse of the shot imho
