cool bug but the image seems a little overexposed on the bug so we cant see all the detail

A bit overblown to me, but I do like the colors on the weevil. The over blown stalk does take away somewhat from the shot. Myabe a touch of levels to alliviate that?

The focus and DOF are spot on. I think what hurts it a bit is the blown out brightness of the stalk. With advanced editing, you could burn it, or even paint it using a soft brush with a tad darker green. I like all of the various shades of colour on the bug's back. Nice bokeh as well. ;~D

Nice composition, but you've lost some detail in the plant and insect because of overexposure.
