saw a similar shot on flickr.com or one of those image sites while i was looking for desat ideas. i think you pulled it off here, nice job.

Good message, okay picture. The blacks seem very gray to me - almost washed out. A bump in contrast might really help this out. The pic is also fairly soft overall, which is fine in the background, and even on the hand/arm, but I think the bracelet could use a touch of sharpening or unsharp mask.
