Was your camera even set to macro?
It's hard to make out alot of the detail, but this image looks like an art within itself. I really like it. |

This is interesting and a little strange at the same time. First, it's a very nice composition. I wish the rose 'bud' center area had a little more DOF and focus. As for the strange part...it seems weird to see beads of water in color on a B/W image. JMO of course. Maybe if it was a red rose initially instead of an orange/yellow one? Nice effort on isolating the selected drops in a seamless manner. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

Very pretty but the fact that just those drops are colored bothers me. Why just those? |

beautiful picture... it just seems a little unbalanced with the few droplets you did... just my opinion.. very pretty though |
