 I had passed this farm many times, but was arrested by the way the early sun hit the snow and the stone.

Sunshine, shadows and snow. At any other time, this shot might have been quite uninteresting. This moment was a really good one to seize.

I don't know how this one relates to the challenge but certainly a very nice winter shot. A polarizer would have perhaps helped.

I really like this and have scored it high but the sky is a bit grainy and it looks a bit oversharpened to me

Nice composition, I beleive it fails to emphasize the border itself.. Maybe a gate closing the entrace would have made more impact.

Nice idea for a transition between two hidden surfaces. The slight tilt of the shot distracts a bit. Otherwise, nice shot.

It´s a nice landscape shot. I like so much of snow shots, may be because I hadn´t snow in my region. The subject is very clear to me, big use to the rule of thirds!
