Different. Nice lighting, composition and dof. Love the black and white treatment-has good tonal range that makes it interesting. Not high impact in a "WOW" kind of way, but definitely has visual interest.

The harsh lighting and choice of black and white work very well to emphasise the nature of the subject matter. An intriguing image that makes me ask questions about the owner as well as provoking more abstract thoughts about work/ vocation.

Great shadows and tones. Nice details. B&W was a great way to go with this photo.

Technical: fits the challenge well. Exposure composition focus lighting all good- I think the black and white makes it stronger and really makes the eyes focus on the details and the light.

Personal: Though the subject itself isn't compelling to me, the way it was shot and presented definitely is compelling. Well done.
