When you turn your back to the city, you can do anything. You just have to hide your sin and no one will judge you.

Beautiful City, not a winner

What's illegal? I can't tell what this guy is doing. Is he trying to take a leak on the side of the road? Did he spray paint something on that pole? Is it illegal for a man wearing a suit to overlook a town on tuesdays at noon? The man is pretty dark. Can't tell if he's trying to hide something in his coat or if he's trying to take a leak. The conditions make the photo a bit washed out in places. Focus seems ok, but also hard to tell cause of the lighting. There isn't a lot of detail here. I think you had an idea, but it doesn't come across unless you know exactly what the guy is trying to do.

I can easily find several flaws in this picture (the redundant inclusion of the further pole, the distraction of the diagonal wire and line, the questionable inclusion of the curb on the left, the lack of light on the apparent subject...), yet

Given the humorously plain and dry title together with the posture and facial expression of the hatted character, I cannot help cherishing this photograph. Oddly, I like the inclusion of the unusually varied landscape. Although I cannot tell what Mr. Jones is up to, it is, quite apparently, in contrast to the powers that wove his suit! ;-)

I am so helplessly lost in assessing the merits of this photograph, that I'm delighted to ignore all and any of its faults.

Great idea - person's too much in the shadows to add the drama the photo needs

Great idea! The subject is too dark, but the composition is nice and it fits the challenge.

While a little too dark for me to really see what he is doing (I assume he is taking a piss) I like the idea. That is to take a photo of a social boundary. This is what I thought the challenge was supposed to be about. Although I could be wrong judging by all of the knifes and odd things people entered.
