Good photo. The reason this didn't score well probably has to do with the technicals. DPC loves perfect technicals. The actual subject and composition are terrific in my opinion. Too bad people can't look beyond the mechanical stuff. |

Adorable!! Hopefully no fish were harmed in the making of this photograph. Score was probably hurt by the soft focus on the cat, even though the fish is the focal point. The desat is effective because it's subtle. I like the light, too. |

Aww, I really like this - I'm surprised it didn't score higher! I guess cutting off the cat's back and the bottom of the fishbowl would've brought it down a bit, plus DPC voters seem to like sharp, clear things. Still, I like it, I think it's really funny :) |

This would be very cool if the fish were more exposed and more saturated...

i like this shot, but I feel it has more potential.. the focus is very blurry on the cat.. I would like to see the whole image in focus since this is not as foreground and background, but a two subject shot. |

Yeh, cute. The desat works well, a little sharper focus would have given it more bite (excuse the pun). Good luck |

I think at least part of the cat needed to be within the depth of field for this shot. |

The image needs better focus. |

I like the idea of this very much, where the prey draws not only the cat's eyes but the viewers as well. Just wish the fish, especially, was in sharp focus and not so noisy. |

The color is too dark, but I like it. |

Love the title, and the pose/composition is excellent. The fish seems a little grainy (compared to the rest of the pic) and oversaturated, but otherwise an excellent shot. |

The fish doesn't stand out clearly enough, too dark red in my opinion. |

i like this idea but it seems like too much of the photo is out of focus. I don't mind using soft focus as a technique but in this fram I'd like to see a focal point (the fish, or the cats nose/eyes). |
