Greetings from the Critique Club.

Composition: In general, I really do like this. The ripples take me further into the image and the stick makes my eyes hover there. I feel however a larger focal object would have worked better.

Technical: I love the lighting and colour...it is relaxing to view. Well done.

Overall:I know this image fit the challenge...but I feel it was missing the 'wow' factor that some of the other images seem to have. That in itself was the biggest downfall of this image.

Hey nice score! I'm looking at the ripples and just get carried away into the horizon. Love the blue. It is quite tranquil. So smooooooooooooooooooooooooooth. Great job!

Tranquil, yes. Blue, check. Smooth...m'eh...makes me think wet, not smooth.

Aside from the black thing out in the water, this is a perfect shot. I think this would have been a better fit for a texture challenge than a silky-smooth challenge. Nonetheless, I still like this photo. Tranquil is an apt description. 7

I think this is great but could have done without the stick, maybe a boat or a bird but i would like this even more with just the water, so placid great pattern

Great concept, but with such a simple abstract you have to be extra careful of noise (there's quite a bit near the top) and over-sharpening (around the stick)
