Greetings from the critique club. Let me first start off with saying that I'm not sure how well you met the photo-challenge connection. The Vanishing point actually goes to the capitol building. I do like the fact that you used shadows/highlights to accenuate the photo the processing is pretty good. I do think that at night tripod mounted this would have been a stronger image, however its still going to end at the capitol building. Overall I'd say you scored about where I would have put it in a tough challenge. |

I wondered if this was you as you are the resident DC photographer. Nice shot with all the traffic. |

The P.O. bldg looks fantastic. Don't forget about that one when the next Turrets & Clocktowers challenge comes along. Is that selective color on the sky? Interesting. And you employed the shadow/highlights tool to good effect - it's an easy one to screw up! |

Subject is great. Nice overall capture of the capital. However the vanishing point is not demonstrated well.5 |

Would have found it more compelling as a night shot ... |

A nice cityscape, but there is so much going on here that I had to deliberately look for the vanishing point. So as a cityscape, it's a nice photo. However in the interest of the challenge theme, it doesn't work well for me. |

Nice photo, but the cars take away from the vanishing point. |

Looks like a picture from a text book in the 50's - except the car models of course! |
