 Traffic on the A14 near Girton, Cambridgeshire. I have a nasty feeling that this is going to bomb, but if you don't try you don't succeed...

Greetings from the Critique Club

I always like to see this style of image. You've got to go out on a dark night, set up a tripod and hope the traffic flow will give you a good pattern of light. And you really can't check until you get back home! Then too, you probably have to take some care not to get run over.

All that in mind, there you were. I have an idea that if your road had been more interesting, say with a curve in it, you would have scored better. And, yes, as one of your commenters said, that cluster of lights at the vanishing point was a problem, as the vanishing point was obscured, and slightly fuzzy.

But it's a good start, and I expect you'll be out there on another road one of these days, trying again.

I know where this was taken. Must have been quite late at night road dosent look very busy. However I think it is a great photo.

You have a great idea here, but I think the cluster of lights at the "vanishing point" take away from the image. It might be better if there was more of a constant stream of lights for the full length of the road.
