 Took multiple shots from all different angles. This shot that I decided to go with was a single shot from that angle. No cropping, just edited to clean up and resized.

Dodged/burned, adjusted contrast, cloned some dust out, touched up a couple hot spots using the clone and smudge tool, slight gaussian blur, USM, and that is pretty much it. Hope it does alright.

Thanks for all the comments. This is my favorite guitar right now. Since I got this, my electric hasn't even been touched. :-)

I concur, received two lashes last week alone...and I have the same guitar, errr 'had' the same guitar, just sold it. :-( The wood finish is beautiful in this shot.

As a guitar player, I like this shot. I love the cut strings- just seeing them that close reminds me ou the sting of a puncture wound.

The glare is the only thing distracting on this shot. Gives the impression of it being held during a performance though

Though the subject doesn't "grab" my attention, the photo is very nicely done. Very effective lighting.

Nice photo, great colors. I like the clarity of the main subject. The source of light made the right portion of the photo hazy causing a little bit of distraction.

nice, but the wood seems to have a bit too much reflection on the right in my opinion
