Hello from the Critique club, my name is Jon Rowe, and i will be looking at your image this evening :)
Composition/Lighting : compsition and lighting is beautiful here. might push the horizon itself up a little, but that's nitpicking.
Challenge : i think the reason for the sub-6 scores was they saw this as meeting the challenge through title only. the image itself does not scream out silky or smooth, but with the title it can be shoe-horned in. it's a good score for this image, about where i would guess that it would end up.
Conclusion : great capture, and great editing. you did well! keep up the great work :D

| You can call it silky and smooth, but it looks like a sunset to me. |

| Very soft and uneven on the left side maybe it would have been better to crop that out ? |
