| Greetings from the critique club. First let me congratulate you on a top 10 finish. This is a very nicely done photo with good colors, saturation and framing. The only real suggestion I might have for you based on your comments and your photographer comments is this. Your using a kit lens thats known to need stopped down to sharpen it up a bit. I'd have suggested going to F8 to help with the softness(pixelation) of your daughter that you talk about. Based on your lens in your profile I might have also suggested that you use the 50 1.8 to do this same shot with the same dof and you likely would have gotten a sharper photo. You scored very well and finished nicely. Good luck in future challenges. |

| Lovely image. I like the use of light and shadow here. Not sure yet if I like the girl in the photo, or positioned where she is. Right now I feel like she stops the viewer from following the fence and discovering the vanishing point. Otherwise, it is a very well captured photo. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

| Beautiful composition and exposure! I love the way the bright greens keep your eyes "on track". Great job working that light and exposing perfectly. Bumping up to a 10. |
