I have no idea how this will do, but it was fun to put together. Snake courtesy of the animal shelter, and I don't actually know if it's a boa or python. Focus is sharpest on top of the snake's head and I know I'll get dinged for that, but I liked this pose much better than the sharper pictures I had for an album cover. This was shot without a flash through glass; I got inspired when I saw the red/yellow cast to it and decided to play that up. Hoping to at least get a 5 out of it!
PP - NeatImage, cropped, levels, white balance (obviously not corrected for reality since I wanted the red/yellow to match the text effect), increased contrast, dodged/burned eye, expanded top to make more room for the text, burned/blurred to blend added pixels, added border, USM, resized, USM, added text, applied fire effect to text, dodged/burned eye some more, blurred some hotspots, decreased gamma |

| The snakes head needs a bit more focus and some better lighting. Its really the focus of the photo. Nice DOF. |
