Greetings from the Critique Club
Initial reaction was a good one - very smooth, very silky in overall effect, so I'd say you met the challenge well. There is a bit of unnecessary tension created by cropping off her elbow on the left side of the picture - I think that one little thing disrupts the flow of the image a bit. Your commenters liked it very well and you did an excellent job with the light - adding to your notes that you used fabric over the onboard flash is a good learning tip for others. Good use of shadow, nice rich, warm color.
Your score is pretty good in my opinion (more 6s than 5s and more 7s than 4s) and may have been a bit higher had you not cropped the elbow. There are some factions who don't like photographs of art or sculptures regardless of how well they're presented - you'll simply not win them over.

An engaging use of shadow. A great job of controlling the amount of noise as well, especially considering the dark environment. The only thing I don't like is how the elbow is clipped on the left hand side - I would rather see the entire arm, with an appropriate amount of empty space between the statue and the left edge of the frame. |

Love the texture and color. Just a bit on the dark side exposure wise but, maybe that is my monitor. |

You will need a soft light to make it look silky. You are using quiet harsh light here for the subject IMHO |

Really cool take on the challenge. This statue is very "silky" and I love how you captued it by accenting the shadows. |
