 Even shooting sports I'm trying to shoot landscape. My 60-something parents are both heavily into paragliding. They stumbled upon a group doing some ridge soaring at Ecola State Park (just north of Cannon Beach). While they went for a quick flight, I stayed up top at launch and shot pictures.

The picture is rotated and tonemapped with basic adjustment layers. The left leading edge of the wing does not have artifact, it is a blue edge like you see on the back. Don't worry, even I thought it was artifact at first, but in basic there's not much I can do about it anyway.

POST: The record is mine! I'd like to thank the academy for considering me for all these fourths. In reality, I'm kinda tickled I own some record on DPC, even if it is for most greens.

The scene gets a touch busy, but it is very beautiful and the colors are wonderful. I like the sense of freedom this photo has...nicely done!
