| Very nice composition and great tonal substraction to lend its good effect. The black book cover was a smart choice to add visual ballast. |

| a great photo. Very good composition - makes for a strong image. Pose/expression is just perfect. A pity you didn't selectively colour the hat red/white - that would have made it my winner for this challenge. |

The Cat in the Hat with a big white bow,
How he reads with eyes closed, nobody knows.
Perhaps it's because the book in his hand,
Has no title, no pictures, it's really quite bland.
I like the high contrast and the idea here. You really needed a dark covered and simple book to make this shot work, but the first thing I noticed was the lack of title on the book. |
