Too bad the background distracts from the subject |

I like the way the woman is looking at the camera...candidly. Nice framing, tonal range.Very good. |

Nice shot. The subject has a really great expression and she is well placed within the frame. Her eyes really draw me into the photo. I like this in black and white and even though some of the whites seem a little bright the image is well exposed. I really wish that she was the only person in the shot though because the guy with the turned head and the other im mid sentence kind of distract me from the main subject and to a lesser extent the dark cloth (?) on the left of the frame does too. Really good job with the subject though and the background has a nice texture. Score: 8 Courtenay |

this is a great shot. my first impression was this isnt really a candid but i was assuming the person in the foreground was the focus. it certainly is a candid of the 2 people in the background. love the b&w. it seems a tad soft. good tonal range. 9 goodtimecharlee |

I think this is a great candid. It feels very textured and real. Good physical and tonal range. I certainly hope your votes don't suffer because your main subject is making eye contact. The gaze helps make the picture. |

Great shot overall, composition and lighting are superb but the DOF seems a little off... |

I like this picture. I wouldn't mind seeing it in colour being curious, but the result in B/W is very good. Good luck. 7 |

like this one a lot - the B&W is effective and it is pretty interesting. Good foreground subject and some background interest balances well. |

Very nice shot! I think this is an excellent candid. The black and white also works very well... :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

I appreciate the candid aspect of this photo but that's about it. I don't really like the composition. I don't like the guy on the left looking away. The guy in the middle doesn't add anything to the pic. The woman in the front is doing something unflattering but i guess i don't know what (chewing gum???) 4 sjgleah |

This is a nice photo, but it is not 'candid'! She's looking right at the camera! |
